Please join us for a fun day of events and fun in name of a good cause. All money raised goes to the RDH12 Fund for Sight. This event is made possible by the monetary donations from generous local sponsors. Date - August 24, 2013 Location - Yough River Trail (See the race location on Google Maps) Times - On-site Registration Opens at 8:00 10K Race Starts at 9:00 5K Race Starts at 9:15 1 Mile Fun Run Starts at 10:00 A Picnic Lunch will be served to all registered racers starting at 11:00 A ticket to the picnic lunch and other events is also available to non-racers All registered racers will recieve a free race T-shirt The race is timed and prizes will be given to the top three finishers in the male and female categories. A fun day for the family - Basket Raffle, Bounce House, Play Ground, Carnival Games, Face Painting, Balloon Animals, Hair Feathers, Music. Tickets for the Basket Raffle can be prepurchased on the Race Registration website. For more information on the Basket Raffle will be available soon. NOTE - Kids shirt sizes - Youth XS=2-4, Youth S=6-8, Youth M=10-12, Youth L=14-16 Alternatively you can register by downloading a race registration form and mailing it in. $20 a person/$55 a family for pre-registrants. Race shirts are not guaranteed for registrants after August 14th. Pre-registration includes participation in either race, a shirt, personalized braille book mark, and lunch. Race day registration is $25 a person/$65 a family. Includes lunch and shirt. Don't want to race but still want to enjoy a day of fun? Be a Spirit Runner. $18 a person/$50 a family gets a shirt, personalized braille book mark, and lunch. Lunch only is $5 a person. Children under 3 are free but do not recieve a shirtk. The Pittsburgh Penguins have donated an Evgeny Malkin-signed jersey that we are raffling off. Tickets are $10 a piece.
